No, you can buy just one. You can buy "one" package of just about anything but the "one" might contain 8 small cans of tuna fish or macaroni and cheese. If you buy one bag of rice...it will likely be a big bag. You can buy one computer, printer, TV, VCR etc. but the blank VHS tapes might be bulk packaged in 6's...
