Ten, Re: Each fab is capable of cranking out a few hundred thousand CPUs per week, at the very least.

This is something that makes me feel a bit uncomfortable.
With 4 .18 FAB ramping up, how come there is a tight supply ? I thought .18 FAB can pump out much more CPUs than .25 and Otellini would say Intel will ship millions this quarter(Coppermine).

Ten - Re: "AMD will be hard-pressed to meet Jerry Sanders' goal of 30% marketshare."

Sanders will just SLIP the schedule by a year or two - 30% in 2003 or 2004 !!!

By the way, Sanders is set to RETIRE in 2002 - at least his employment CONTRACT runs out.

That employment contract keeps Jerry pulling down $1,000,000+ salary PER YEAR whether or not AMD loses $500,000,000 per year and the SHAREHOLDERS take another BATH with the stock.

Gotta love AMD's Board Of Directors !
