ATG, i agree the volume usually should mean a kick-off move, not an ending move, also the mcCllelan oscillator/summation is giving a buy signal, but it still bugs me that the nasdaq is making new highs while the a/d line is at multi year lows.

interesting study - comparing the two weeks that followed last years and this years october bottom.

1998
Value line gained 13%
OEX gained 10%

1999
Value line gained 5%
Oex gained 12%

breadth improved on this rally but price action is centered in the bigs.

Interesting looking reversals to GE, AXP and a few others that went parabolic.
