The current propaganda seems to be that passive components are going well again. Kemet did well, and it would be confirmed if Vishay is also doing well. I look at the semi-equipment makers and their share prices seem to reflect very positive future scenarios. In fact, they seem to be highly valued and you have to wonder if they are primed for a fall. ESI has not tracked with the group and you can hope they might standout as a value play?

Anyway, I have reduced my holdings in general and that includes ESI. I still hold shares because I like the company and think they have a good future prospect. I don't know what will cause the market to be strong buyers. Maybe they are waiting for a clear signal from passives, or maybe they are waiting for more good quarters?

Regards,

Mark

Vinh, ESI breaking into new 52 week highs again. I'm still holding my base shares, but sold my trading shares in the 50's. I'm not posting here much, or even following ESI that carefully because I've identified this company as a good one to hold for the long term.

Hope you are profiting well from all this.

Best regards,

Mark
