I agree with that - overall though. I think it's naive to think that monetary authorities can and will stay neutral with regard to gold - it's the biggest reserves asset by far. And I think we're now seeing a group of banks re-affirming gold's role - now some would give credit for this to Gata, others to Mulroney, John Crow, etc., but the most credible thing I've read here is that this declaration was in the works since February of this year, and was a European initiative.
