Wei,

Thanks for the info. Searched for the FL_Port but I must have missed it. Is it available as an option port on a port module? Or is the switch connect effected as an NL_Port login? Also, do you know what port is used for connects between Capellix'? I didn't find anything on port configurations in their specs. Any link you can shed on port module configuration and options would be appreciated. I did see where the GBIC option is a 6 port module.

The latency thing has been discussed somewhat inconclusively over the years and it looks like a definitive answer won't be forthcoming until this stuff gets wide deployment. BTW, Ancor's switch latency is < 1 microsecond, if that means anything.

The Capellix may be a little late to market, but it's not too late to capture the fading hub market. Not everyone will need a fabric switch. Looking forward, Intel must have seen something in ZOOX they could work with.

Thanks again,

Douglas
