Daylight saving time and Windows ...

Those who need to adjust their computer's clock because Daylight Saving time ended this weekend can save themselves a bit of work next spring if they tell Windows to do this automatically next time.

Click Start / Settings / Control Panel / Date-Time. Click TimeZone tab and check the box marked "Automatically adjust clock ..."

This is only a couple of clicks beyond adjusting the time. Windows will display a notice when your computer clock gets adjusted.

Cheers, PW.

P.S. While you're at it, click Control Panel / Regional Settings, Date tab and select four digit years. This will save you some grief on January 1st as we say goodbye to 99.

You are funny.....

"If more accuracy is needed, I'd copy the times from paper, once I located where I put it!"

No, that should be sufficient, lol. I get the idea.

97 minutes to locate paper.
22 minutes to pay overdue bills discovered while searching for paper.
143 minutes to clean rest of desk.

just kidding for the fun of it
