I got my reserve figures from charred, -g-, so you'll have to argue with him about that. -g-

To be serious, I see your point!

I'm still puzzled, however, why at the end of a mine's life, one wouldn't be able to capture the full cash flow (in this case $100/oz) from the gold extracted.

When you use $50/oz, aren't you including non-cash expenses such as depreciation and amortization?
