>> YOu Indian guys are smoking something!<<

So if we don't like or agree with a post we make note of a persons race?My question to you is "What has a persons race got to do with what they say or think?"If you were a decent person you would apologize to Najib Mehanna for your racist remark.

William,

I was shocked and dismayed when I just logged on to the thread a few minutes ago, and read your remarks. I met you at the shareholders' meeting in Austin this year and thought you were very nice, and I don't believe you meant your post to be "racist", but at the very least your comments discrediting someone's heritage at the end of your post was completely unnecessary, very insensitive, and even insulting.

It is, in fact, NOT okay to refer even "slightly" to anyone's heritage when disagreeing with their opinion or position on a stock. Will you next use the "N" word towards a black poster on the thread who is short DELL??? Should you next assume Bill Fleckenstein is Jewish and post an anti-Semitic remark because of his short position in DELL???

I'm one of the biggest bulls on DELL and thought this guy Najib's post was idiotic, but you went too far. I don't even know if he is from India, but by disparaging him personally and India, you have insulted every American who is of Indian descent including Mohan Marette, myself, and several senior executives at DELL. I don't expect you to apologize to anyone, but that would be the decent and right thing to do.

Sincerely,

Sam

William Re <<Najib etc-this is THE all time dumbest ------ post I have seen in three years.Nothing special about DELL>>

100 percent disagree. You did not understand the point he was trying to make.

When Najib said there is "nothing special about DELL", he was NOT talking about stock performance.

Whether you like it or not Dell is not a box maker. Dell DOES NOT hold a technological advantage over its competitors. Dell's advantage is in its business model which is proven to be extremely effective, so far. Due to industry conditions, going forward its business model will be less of an advantage, thus pressuring margins. Last quarter Dell's net margins where 8.2%. You will not see the 8.x% margins for a while maybe ever.

As you mention DELL has been an exceptional performer due to the fact that it has continued to deliver on the earnings front. The revenue growth is slowing down and margins are under pressure. I do not expect a big dive in DELL but it is not going a lot higher until the earnings catch up with the evaluation and PE lowers a bit.

Going forward revenue growth should be around 35% with net margins around 7.5%. Phenomenal numbers for almost any other company but not good enough for all mighty Dell.

Mani
