Something tells me the quiet puts us on the verge of a big move. Of course, the boards will heat up when it's late to make the easy money. The move may already be started. Last week was a great week for trading. Many, many great opportunities, and most of them followed through for nice gains. Breakouts have been particularly reliable recently. Friday, I entered nice breakout trades in MXIM, AMAT, XLNX and MIKE. As always, every trade will not be successful. I cut short losses in a few other positions and stuck with my plan on the successful trades by selling on strength, yielding very good net results. I hope the market continues its recent trending form... Certainly makes trading easier. Happy Halloween, -Eric ericpatterson@home.com
