Good Point but I would be curious to see what the individual stocks in the foreign markets are doing. Maybe they are having the same narrow rallys we are having here. I don't have foreign stocks in my database and erally don't know where I could get a good look at them. Maybe Heinz would know of a foreign market Advance decline chart somewhere for various markets.

As for the risk chart, I would love to know that actual formula or else since I am lazy, a way of seeing that chart in Semi log. The index chart shows verticle there where as it doesn't appear that way on my semi log charts here. I think it is still valid but I would love to see the relationship to last peaks on semi log since I noticed that the last spikes were increasingly higher each time. A semi log chart and a trend line connecting prior peaks before market sell offs would be a possible valuable tool.

That chart really drives home what is happening here, I just wish we could nail down the trigger level or time frame better.
