I never bought nite, but I was thinking it might be a bellwether for the naz when things were sitting at that juncture after the bad ppi. Instead of buying nite I bought etrade calls which so far has not been a profitable move but I don't think etrade leads the financial group which is why nite might have been more relevant.

Why did I buy etrade and not Nite then, if I was banking on a resurgence in the sector? This, ladies and gents, is why...

a grocery checker in my neighborhood is a 49ers cheerleader. She mentioned that she had a day off one day because the 49er cheerleaders were doing a gig at the E-trade quarterly meeting for employees. I thought this might mean they had a good quarter. They did have a good qtr (imo) but the stock has gone nowhere.

As far as I know I was the first to post a NITE purchase on this thread. I think that is what HJ's point is.

I did not know the point. I bought it due to a discussion I had with Gary Korn and other research at the time. I did not exit as quickly as I should have but exited VERT perfectly. It is time to re-enter VERT again I believe. I will decide tomorrow.

I don't believe any one has a perfect record in the market.
