Was surfing channels this morning trying to decide what football game to watch, came across that Cybermax Athlon computer show at one of those home shopping channel. They had 500 MHz through 700 MHz.

Then I heard "this next generation Athlons are up to 700 MHz now with higher speeds of 750 MHz and 800 MHz coming in January"

I have no idea why he said that considering that he was trying to sell lower speed grades which were available. Strange. I also think he broke an NDA unintentionally.

I strongly believe that this will be the case, no new Athlon this year with 750 MHz and 800 MHz coming in volume in January on the 0.18 process.

David - Re: "NEC Athlons are now available in New York. Also NEC is showing several K6 models including 500s. "

I'm glad you spent your week end obsessing about me, seeking out Athlons throughout New York - just to inform me of AMD's tremendous progress!
