Uncle Frank: I have been asking others to do my work all my life - though not with much success. I very much understand and respect Mike's reasons for not undertaking DD on JDSU, I was just having a little fun.

While it is true that JDSU is the king in my game, I am always trying to learn - here and elsewhere.

Agree that this is not the "Ask Mr. Wizard" forum, (you will note I address him always as Mike - for old times sake - and do not use the name Merlin - until now at least). IMO your G&K thread's major contribution to SI is as a unique and excellent thread to do what it was set up by you and LindyBill to do - discuss gorillas and kings and candidates for that status.

Best as always.

"It was never meant to be an "Ask Mr. Wizard" forum."

Well, actually, Merlin really is "Mr. Wizard"... <g>

Ouch, Frank. I felt that kick in the ass all the way here in Connecticut! You've gotten me a wee bit worried though. My only skills are psychotherapeutic, not technical. Does this mean I've got to offer free therapy? <G>

Meant with fondness.

Uncle Frank:
Let me add my name to the long list of people who have thanked you for starting (along with Lindybill) the best thread on the Internet. Not only have we all made money but we've had a great time doing it.

Your dutiful nephew,
Fred
