The remarkable thing about Rambus is that despite all the screw ups and lost momentum, RDRAM has the infrastructure in place. Chips from at least 3 major manufacturers are available now. Production fabs are in place with more on the way. And the PC's arrive in 2 weeks. Rambus is in a much stronger position because of Intel's investment and push for the last 2+ years. That makes up for a lot of lost momentum. Rambus has made it into the batter's box.
