The Prophet,

The fact that you repeat your statements, does not make them true. GSM was a government adopted standard in Europe. It had tremendous momentum, state sponsorship, and oligopoly support among the large infrastructure manufacturers. Yet, ultimately, it has lost to CDMA. Why? Because CDMA proved superior.

Nor does something become true because you say it.

Where I am GSM is everywhere and CDMA is nowhere except in future plans for 3rd generation overlays. However, you are comparing apples with oranges because GSM is a complete infrastructure specification whereas CDMA is just a different air interface which can happily be grafted onto the GSM infrastructure.
