Rambus is barely competitive in performance with PC133, it can't even begin to approach the performance of DDR 266. And since it costs twice as much as either technology, I think it's a lot more likely that Rambus is a one iteration technology than DDR.

Intel, at least, has announced that it's better off supporting DDR, and so it will support DDR - in contrast to the conclusions of some posters on this thread.

But I don't suppose that was the point you were trying to make. :-)
