Because I have been building numerous long positions during the fall and I will be going a lot longer over the next few months. There are simply some short positions I don't feel are worth chasing down anymore (e.g. TRBO, ERTH, GBUR, WAVX, etc.) so I take profits and put the money to work in more productive investments. The only shorts I will hold are the most outrageous frauds and most absurd stock promotions (e.g. GUMM, REFR, IDX, etc. )
