Hi folks ..

This is what I've been trying to build into a web page ..

look at it very carefully .. look how it leads, not follows ..

look at how much warning it gives ..

199.179.190.187

Is this the grail?

This chart spans the last 2.5 days (1000 one min time bars)

Keep an eye out .. the "factor" is being brought into the page more and more every day.

I think that I'll try to have the factor raw number on it by the morning. It will be a part of the trigger history file.

Again .. site at this moment is : 199.179.190.187

Lee--

>>>So if I get this right, GE is launching to new highs and they could lose over 30% of revenues as all thier foreign feeds go dead Jan 1? ( assuming that Y2K is a real event off shore)<<<

I don't know if you can draw those kinds of conclusions quite that precisely.

But, take KO for example.

I know from news reports that Latin America is in bad shape remediation-wise:

Buenos Aires just issued an international invitation to bid a "Y2K Solution for the Buenos Aires Provincial Government Administration-Key Information Systems Remediation and Testing for Millenium Compliance and Hardware and Software Aquisition and Adjustment" in the New York Times 10/22/99. Late start there guys...leaving a full month for remediation, testing and assessment?...ROTFLMAO

Walter Schafer Paoli, the Paraguayan government's year 2000 generalissimo, is preparing for Martial Law.

(no url. Washington Post link from 10/10/99 no longer works.)

The comments of Sr. Carlos Guedes, Chief Information Officer of InfoDevBank (the Latin American arm of the World Bank) on the state of remediation in Latin American countries do not inspire confidence.

So the next question is what percentage of KO's sales are from Latin America?

What will happen to sales in that region if the economic situation turns sour due to bad remediation?

(Someone posted, either here or on the Naked thread, a KO web site with a pie chart? breakdown of Coca-Cola sales by geographic region. I can't locate my book mark nor can I find the chart on the Coca-Cola web site. Please help.)
