No, it makes no sense. But then AOL was valued at $10,000 per customer.<G>

"We believe Stamps.com market value should approach $15 billion or more when
the company shows visibility on reaching 10 million customers.."

Value at $1500 per customer? does that make any sense to anyone?

Most people who made trades using the word "sense" this year probably got killed.

Cat Lady.

In the longer run you are correct, no question. But when it is a 'fad'? You know, during a fad it is easy to claim a customer shells out $200 a year, that doesn't sound exaggerated, whatever the reality (?) is. $200 a year, 7x sales? 69% gross margins? Way cheap!

After seeing EFAX, AWRE, KIDE and the likes, I'm used it....

Kind regards, and enjoy a 'Bud'!

Like I said before, wait till those folks that try the service start requesting their 50 bucks back. It sure seems like a retarded business model to me. Pay 50 bucks for the opportunity to burn up printer cartridges, jam your printer with more crap, and last but not least....to pay 10% more than the rest of the world is paying for postage. You would have to be a retard to use this service. So far, it looks like they found 10,000 of them. They will probably manage to find about a million of them, they will get a whopping 50 million bucks for these sign-ups, the customer will try the service once or twice and then throw the crap away and go back to leaving a check in the mailbox for the mail lady to leave you stamps in an envelope. That's what my wife does. We buy about 200 stamps per month and it couldn't be easier than the way we do it now. It's a failing business model in my opinion. 15 billion dollar market cap?? Only in America baby, only in America.

This is all just my opinion of course.

You want mass postage?? Call Pitney Bowes.
