Boy, for a while there you were pretty stimulating but that Bear Shi----! in the woods remark took me back to my sandbox in the Projects!

DAK, I've been reading the exchange of posts between you and Voltaire with amusement, because I can't figure out what your point is, and certainly don't understand why you've become so bellicose during the discussion.

To my way of thinking, too many who employ options to gain leverage get hung up on the instrument itself and forget that its value is derived from the underlying equity. The main purpose of this thread is to discuss the fundamentals and prospects of Qualcomm which will determine its price and therefore value of its derivatives.

David, you list your profession as trader/investor, and cite 20 years of investing experience, but a few short hours ago you admitted you weren't aware that Level 2 options privileges were available within sheltered accounts. I'm guessing options strategy isn't your area of expertise, so why have you been pressing this argument?

Prosperous investing,
Franq

Hi David,

I'm surprised to see you in these woods...although I'm just here temporarily (& recently). If you could list or pm me some of those option books I'd appreciate it. Don't let these guys give you a hard time...if they don't want to listen, then it is their loss, and they're making me some $$$. I'll be out either tomorrow or Tues...b4 earnings (too unpredictable), I'll be selling to whichever exchange will give me the most $$$ for Voltaire's calls.>>>gg<<<

Best of Luck,

Where'd He Go?

BTW...Hey Voltaire, Thanks for the 50% I bagged on Friday...I repositioned myself to take another 50-100% by Tues by trading your covered call write(but I'll be happy to break even on this one)...not bad for a few days work...thanks again : ) (ok enough bragging...watch now I jinxed myself for being a greedy fish...drat...oh well that's part of the game : ) Best of Luck.
