Ah mooter775 where should I begin with your delusions. You spent alot of time writing - I suspect you weren't doing as much laughing as trying to settle your nerves. : ) "By the way, I don't think I said that LVCI won't be fine." Well then, you are right about something. Be more clear next time. "I just said that you are a lousy stock picker .." Is that what you were trying to say? Another self-serving myth. Look at the stocks listed as my favorites. That isn't a wish list, its real. The majority of them are not recent additions, as LVCI is - though its not among the favorites. That said, are you so wishy washy that you let short term market reactions influence your judgement on a company? Be straight mooter775, you can't criticize the names that have been on my list over the past year, so you do whatever you can - jumping on something that is off after a few weeks, even if it impugns your own reflection. Warren Buffett would disagree with your tactics. Peter Lynch said he was happy if he was right 6 out of 10 times. Lets see if LVCI turns out to be a poor investment. Lets give it 1/2 the 24 months you have been buying VLNC at prices higher than it is now. "And I'm really okay with my position in Valence, since I know a lot more about it than you do. You know a heckuva lot less about Valence than you pontificate, pardner...." I'd like to say I'm happy for your mooter775. ; ) As for what I know about VLNC. I know all that I want to know from public records. That has been at least enough to avoid the poor performance over the past 24 months, "I love your statement, "I'm very satisfied with portfolio performance over the past 12 months." What the heck is that supposed to mean???" It means that the numbers quoted by tmoney for his performance over the past 12 months are far south. If you think his are good, that tells me your performance is south too. "And you have serious delusions if you think those whom you choose not to call you 'friend' are 'greasy, low integrity people'" No mooter775, its not a blanket generalization, its a specific characterization. "May your LVCI return to the levels at which you touted it on the internet!!!" Tout is what you do but, thanks anyway. It will disappoint your hopes to the upside, much to your chagrin. But then again I suspect you will disappear in the suspect manner that fmk did.
