I have heard from a couple of people who feel that the contest should not be allowed to fall by the wayside for varying reasons. Given that it was my pm to David that caused him to feel obligated to resign, I feel a responsibility to see if I can keep the contest going -- especially since I had a role in helping put together the contest in the first place. But before doing this, I would like to know how many of the contestants would like to continue with it. If there is sufficient interest AND I can find a volunteer to take over the responsibility for hosting it, I shall do what I can to continue the contest. If anyone is willing to host it -- which entails the administrative headaches as well as the adjudication aspects -- feel free to send me a private message. I will assist the person who takes over the hosting responsibilities anyway that I can.
