A note I sent Fleck:

Bill-
Just read your latest contrarian piece. I would like to make a couple
comments.

1. Intel DID make THEIR number in Q3. They missed what some analysts THOUGHT they SHOULD make. Big difference. Intel's guidance was right on.

2. Intel never said they were going to preannounce on the upside. Only ANALYSTS did. Big difference. Again, their guidance was right on.

I have owned Intel for four years. It has been a great four years. I am truly sorry you missed out on it. I am not in love with the stock. It and the company have frequently disappointed me. However, I have NEVER found their guidance to be inaccurate to a significant degree or
dishonest in the slightest degree. In fact, their guidance has been, like Microsoft's, conservative and cautioning. That is why I have very high hopes for Q4. I have never heard the company be so bullish and four years of guidance gives me a basis for my hopes.

Thanks for your views even though I do not agree with them.
