Hi BP, also in dealing with Schwab be careful if anyone starts writing deep in the money calls hoping to raise cash in what they feel is a bearish market. Had to have a conference call on this particular strategy with one of my clients and ended up talking with the damn CFO at Schwab. In the end they agreed that what I was doing was probably legal and could be done but no one there had ever seen it done and it took six weeks to get his account straightened out and transferred elsewhere. geez, unbelievable! Had to have conference with Bank of Monteal in another deal because they had never seen it done. My problem is you won't find a lot of this in a book because no one is going to talk about using Margin much and you sure as hell won't see someone suggesting you write calls on top of calls so I am sort of out here on the edge battling a lot of conventionalism. Oh well, that is where I have spent most of my life. Right brain you know! Tom
