TRAC news -- stock split (PR received via e-mail tonight, Oct. 31, although officially dated Nov. 1). Seems a little odd to me to do a split at this level, but that's what it says...

TRACK DATA ANNOUNCES TWO-FOR-ONE STOCK SPLIT

NEW YORK--November 1, 1999--Track Data Corporation
(Nasdaq NMS: TRAC), a provider of online trading and market
data services, announced today that its Board of Directors
declared a two-for-one stock split in the form of a stock
dividend of its common stock payable on November 17, 1999 to holders of record on November 10, 1999.

Barry Hertz, Chairman and CEO, said, "With only 25% of our
common stock owned by the public, we believe the stock split
will provide greater liquidity for our stockholders, as well
as attract institutional investors."

Mr. Hertz further commented, "We are very pleased with the
progress of our online brokerage service which reached a new
milestone last Friday of 2,000 trades for the day. The average
trades per day during the last week of October were
approximately 1,800, a 47% increase over the average trades
per day during the last week of September."
