Yes, I see, you still made money, BUT not as much as if you were not covered, that's all. Thus my point (and McMillan's) is that at some point you are capped out of gains in a covered call position.

This is not all bad. There many reasons for entering into them. So again, I agree with both of you.

When it comes to money, the reasons we save it or spend it can get pretty bizarre at times. Just ask the women in my life!!
