BB will change the way we use advertising, but not the way the advertisers currently expect. We have too much control over the ad models that worked from the past. That was one way broadcast. The advent of the VCR was the beginning of the end of the traditional models. The way of the future is elective advertising. That is, I elect to see an ad. It isn't pushed on me. They can't do that any more and therefore there is no money in that technique. Who is doing the presentation model I mentioned a few posts ago? Nobody. They are still pursuing a push broadcast technique. It won't work and it isn't working although you hear all this noise about ad success or ad spending. You don't hear anything about ad yield.
