I didn't mean to imply that any of these internet stocks were gorillas or gorilla candidates, only that I viewed them as great long term buy and hold candidates recently just as I viewed those others that way long before I ever heard of gorillas.

OK, DaYooper, then I take it you agree that now owning YHOO, RNWK, and AOL is fundamentally different than owning INTC, MSFT, CSCO a few years ago. If YHOO, RNWK, and AOL are not gorilla candidates, then the risk level is significantly greater than buying Gorillas, imo.

I am not picking on you, DaYooper. Just trying to make the distinction between these types of stocks clear.
