So where does MT go from here. I'm looking at this trying to make sense of it and I keep thinking I'm missing something. I would appreciate any help on this.

As far as I can tell, book value is $19 or so. The yearly dividend is $1.84 (as for now). And the stocks at $8 ($7.75).

So if the company has to write off say, $6 in book value from losses in sales of assets and cuts it's dividend by .... I don't know, say $0.60.

Book value is still $13 (0.6 X price), and the yield would still be over 15%. All of which seem VERY ATTRACTIVE on a long term basis .... especially given the overall value of the "MARKET".

I bought 1000 shares @ $8. Would be willing to buy more if someone can help me with the valuation questions.

It's almost like the market is thinking the dividend is going to be cut in half. Thanks in advance.
