There has always been a lot of undue speculation that K7 has some sort of magical scaling ability. 750 - 800 in Q1 is totally reasonable for this point in the product cycle, despite some of the rumors that were flying rampant that the K7 would somehow start introducing higher speed grades every month or so, and that going to .18 would somehow ensure a huge speed pop.

I keeps tellin' y'all, the K7 - Coppermine MHz race is probably going to be close for some time to come, if not indefinitely, unless a logical terminus is encountered, i.e., new product, or one of the parties experiences a manufacturing snafu or process problem.
