Ditto here- Why bother with higher prices...
for this kind of service.

Down, with plays racing by me at 7:20 am pst.

So, so unreliable.... looks like they are not any better than E-Trade.

Just my opinion.

I recently transferred half my portfolio from DATEK to Schwab to spread the risk since I was nervous about rumours of SEC probs at DATEK. Also I'd had a few frustrations with slow trades, servers down etc.

So far my experience with Schwab has been diabolical!

I've just spent an hour trying to check my account positions (since the overview page is always out of date) without once loading the whole page.

I can't get any response from the support lines in the UK where I'm based, nobody replies to emails and if I call transatlantic to the US helpline they tell me my browser ( Explorer 5) must have a bug.

Meanwhile Datek is working fine.

My advice to anybody struggling with Schwab is - try Datek . It isn't perfect but it's light years better than this bunch

And again, it must be mid morning, "the server is unavailable".
