I agree. The blocker didn't send him INTO the kicker but because of the distance between the kicker and blocker the rusher had no time to recover. That's how it looked to me.

Not to be difficult but I'm actually a fan of John Madden. I remember times when announcers were so dam boring. He added a little humor and color to announcing IMO.
Maybe it's because I don't get to see him too often. I get him in small doses. He certainly loves to gab. <g>
One thing for sure, Manning is playing great this year for the colts. He's really maturing quickly, I figured he'd need another year under his belt to feel comfortable but he's fitting in quite nicely.

Gotta run

It was a real shame the Fox made the nation watch the lame Cowgirls game. As usual,
John Madden spent the entire game talking about the Girls, like he's their local
announcer. The Tennessee/St. Louis game was a gem, but most of the country didn't

Come on Tom, thats sour grapes....The "COUNTRY" would rather watch the Cowboys against anyone, that the Rams/Titans...Get real.

Both games were good, and FOX ratings probably were 3-4x better with the Cowboys & Deion & Payton...

You had to like the way the Miami Dolphins defense stuffed the AFC's #1 (Oakland) offense on Sunday.

What gets me is that everyone thinks Jacksonville has the best defense. LOL!! Who have they played?? That division they play in is a joke!!

Who has Miami played? How about Denver, Buffalo, Oakland, New England. Not bad offenses there, eh?

Also, the Miami running game is starting to form 2 heads now with J.J. Johnson providing a nice change of pace to Cecil Collins. The two of them are both big power backs with Collins being the fastest. Once Marino returns, I think Miami is easily the odds on favorite to go the Super Bowl.

Just my thoughts.
