Ledbetter and telecom devices At Various times Schmidt has mentioned wireless and Novell and networking and internet and handheld all in the same breathe. This guy is right there for any expansion of NDS and Novell into the consumer market for such always connected devices. If you think about it, this guy is the essential piece for any Novell strategy for doing the directory infrastructure for the internet --- approaching it from the hardware (as in LU, Nortel, etc. and services as in AT&T) point of view.
