Good point chief, I call that Gut trading and it works sometimes and sometimes it does not.

ALso I got a tip in the summer to watch MTP at .70.

HMMMM still going and news with IFM makes it worthwhile looking at for any that remember the IFM run.

But what if your info comes from the brokerages themselves? Are you not just adding to the problem by becoming buddies with them? What will be your motivation to make illegal insider trading stop if you are making lots of money by getting insider info from your broker friends? Somebody has to stop it somewhere. Everybody loves to trade on insider info, that doesn't make it right.

Trading on insider info, just makes you equal to the brokerages

If you ever end up in court on an illegal insider trading charge, I would suggest you not use this logic as your defense. <ggg>
