thank you for the info on buy.com, and today's release of an agreement with cdnow did not hurt and wed will be good earnings with a positive cc on the new warehouse.

Valley Media Signs Two-Year Fulfillment Agreement with CDNOW

WOODLAND, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 1, 1999--Valley Media, Inc. (Nasdaq:VMIX - news), a leader in the full-line distribution of music and video entertainment products, today announced it has signed a two-year fulfillment agreement for prerecorded, packaged music product with CDNOW, Inc. (Nasdaq:CDNW - news), a leading online music destination. Under the terms of the agreement, Valley will be CDNOW's primary fulfillment supplier for prerecorded, packaged music products. The agreement took effect on October 29, 1999. As part of the agreement, CDNOW will continue to use Valley's audiofile(TM) database as part of its commerce and information offerings.

DJ Valley Media In Supply Pact With Calif Retailer

WOODLAND, Calif. (Dow Jones)--Valley Media Inc. (VMIX) signed a supply agreement for the holiday season with Warehouse Entertainment.

Financial terms weren't disclosed; the pact runs for four months.

In a press release Tuesday, Valley Media said under the agreement it would offer inventory replenishment to Warehouse Entertainment, Torance, Calif., which operates about 600 retail stores in 33 stares.

Valley Media distributes music and video entertainment products.
