Yes, I bought in early September, and again in mid October but I didn't have the cojones to buy more last week when opportunity knocked to the tune of 205. I guess remembering the (in retrospect) non issues that provided those opportunities, it is hard to believe it won't happen again, resulting in the dreaded margin call.

Joke payment to follow.

RE: QCOM and margin.

I manage a family trust and QCOm is the largest $ holding. Back before the split earlier this year, I double my position at 160/share, on margin. The stock then proceeded to drop to below $120/share. Have to admit I was nervous.

Then we had the up $57 day and now my $80/share price stock is worth $225. Has Q paid for the margin interest. Oh boy has it.

On the other hand, I have and continue to keep the margin amount well below the limit the account would take and well within my (and fellow beneficiary's) risk tolerance. That's how I am positioned for pullbacks.
