Gary: I think everyone, short and long, is holding their breath, waiting for this afternoon to see which direction it takes.

The move is real. Remember, there is far less profit potential short than long. So, it makes no sense to tie up capital in a NITE short position. The market is very hot, it is a waste of money to keep it tied in a position with little potential.

There is however one reason to be cautious: there are still many original holders (such as OLBs), who will want to liquidate their positions in order to raise cash for their advertising battles. This means that they are capable of unloading HUGE amounts of stock into strength. This can readily put a damper on any "rocket" type move - especially with the many longs who will bail anyway once the stock reaches their various break-even points. Finally, you have tax selling season for individuals for the rest of the year (particularly Dec), and so, the rise will continue to be controlled and methodical... barring some unexpected but spectacular news, such as a takeover bid etc.

Good luck!
