Heinz,

It is not just the box manufacturers. The report quoted referred to all of technology. A small section of that are the box manufacturers, but only a small section.

I work in the non-box manufacturer section of the technology sector. So, I am always amused when people invariably consider to me to be an expert when buying their home PCs, where even I am a novice.

The entire technology sector will slated to grow to 25-50% of the entire US economy over the next few decades. At that growth rate, it will continue to pull the average US productivity up, keeping imports cheap and available for all US consumers.

Inflation, as you may recall, is an average phenomenon.

Of course, this means wage disparity and social inequality, which is clearly unfortunate.
