I don't know if anyone really noticed, but AMD stock has broken through 20 today. Ever since AMD fell from its "heights" back in January, it has broken through the ceiling of 20 only twice, and only for a short while.

If there is one more short-term pop in this stock coming, I expect it to come during Comdex.

Mani,

Re: "Yes. That is why you do not upgrade the whole fab at once. Line by line. "

What the heck do you mean, "Line by Line" ... Is this the ".25um line" ??
or the "K6 line" ?? What is "Line by Line" ?? Do you have any idea
how a Fab is operated ... Guess not. BTW Mani, where did I say the
"whole Fab".

Re: "When did I say they let the fab sit idle for 6 to 9 months."

When you said after the last 8" starts, convert to 12" ... This indicates that
you are willing to let at least one stepper/scanner worth of
production to go "idle" for 6 - 9 months. That's about 1000 wopm that
will be lost ... and ... at the magical $10,000 revenue per
wafer, that's a lot of money.

Re: "What is your problem Yousef?"

I'm just asking that you "think" before you post, Mani ... That's all.

Re: "Every technical area which I comment on, I do have a very clear
understanding of. You on the other hand ..."

Sorry to disagree with you on this one, Mani ... Based on your
"conversion post", I can see you have very little actual Fab experience.
"Internet Virtual Experience" is not good enough, sorry. <ggg>

Make It So,
Yousef
