I'm impressed with Kemp too. I really thought he would be a big asset to Dole. Turned out he wasn't, hence my disappointment.

I hope NH Reps dump Bob Smith for 2002. Last time he ran Tom Lantos's extremely liberal son-in-law almost took the seat.

Does Smith have a death wish? Is he working to destroy his party? Does he think before he acts?

His favorite son candidacy was a rude joke. If he runs again you'll have a Dem senator.
