Poet, re: playing Q calls (have been playing Q calls w/30-100% of portfolio since April...many, many mistakes along the way, but QCOM's a kind stock, let's you keep playing if you're careful--at least thus far)...there will always be opportunities, Q's still in all-time-high territory right now, might go higher, might not...remember the higher it is, the less percentage "pop" is left in the short term (compared to buying at lower levels). At some point, it will go decisively lower, IMHO, and those are the best times to get percentage gains through aggressive call-buying...those are the days when nobody posts here, nobody posts on yahoo--best bang for your buck, if you have bucks to spare when those days happen. As stock moves up, I move increasingly to common. Save call-buying capacity for a "rainy day". QCOM has many rainy days, many sunny days. Sunny lately, no use breaking out the galoshes. Wait till it's raining real hard, then put on the rain gear and pick up the stunned fish with your bare hands, instead of trying to harpoon agile fish that are running away from you. For advice on options, listen to edamo--"You can spend money, you can't spend opportunity...opportunity always comes back...money doesn't".
Cheers, MM (last went 100% calls w/underlying at 184)
