I've been cruising past posts from March 22-27 in an effort to understand what royalties Q will receive from CDMA vs W-CDMA. The following posts might be of interest to relative newbies (like myself). I couldn't find a post where royalties on W-CDMA were ever quantified precisely, but I found the info helpful.

- reaffirmation of QCOM patents.

- press release from QCOM re dispute resolution with ERICY

- 7 posts re the conference call discussing the dispute resolution.

And finally, the Gregg Powers post from April 15th (that has been reposted many times) that discusses the dispute resolution.

I understand that some pros exercise early to get the capital gains clock going since they want to hop off when hypergrowth abates.
