Shaw, yesterday you were in a discussion regarding the use of t.a. or not on pennies and you asked <<< If you just played small momos by "feel and intuition" do you think you would achieve similar results???>>

I answered a pretty definitive "No!" and since then have thought about this answer, thinking it does need further refinement. I'll use JDX to clarify what I mean.

Over the past week, I've been accumulating a pretty chunky position in JDX. This is definitely based on my own read of the t.a. on the longer term chart, but it does also involve my own "feel and intuition" of where the stock is at and what I see coming in the next few weeks as news releases start to move the stock up in anticipation of the medsite.com ipo on Nasdaq. Do I have any "facts" to base this on? No. Just feel and intuition...and a sense of timing of how promotion of pennies work.

So in cases like these, I take back my initial categorical "no!" answer. Feel and intuition have certainly played a significant part of my decision to go into JDX at this time, and (even if only to myself!), I think the "feel and intuition" reasons in this case are valid. Whether these same sentiments regarding feel and intuition are also equally applicable to true intraday trades...well...I'm still not convinced on that one. Charts/t.a. are still my main weapons of choice!

Regards

Kevin
