Mark, I'm trying to set up a hedge on Xla. If I can get 100k short shares (yeah wish me luck) , I'll then buy the same amount of long shares, but not until. (Scf Xla) will make Wal-Mart look like a risk. Cautionary Note: fwiw, I had my 2nd best day ever, both %-wise and $-wise. My best day $-wise was 4/13/99. Not coincidentally, it was also the day the value of my inet-laden portfolio peaked. I am still a good ways from that pinnacle. The best day %-wise (+15%) was one day in 1/99. 4/13/99 was a +10% day. Today was a +12% day. While the dot, iix and other major indices suggest that we still have a ways to go in this bull run, my portfolio is putting forth a cautionary signal, I believe. It is interesting that even though the dow, naz (and even dot and iix) had a mediocre to modest day today, the b2b, comm infrastructure and ecomm infrastructure stocks for the most part shined in all their glory.
