Dear opalapril: I dont want to argue about states as I think Oregon is beautiful. Especially where I was. However, tax wise I think you are mistaken. Property taxes are comparable to lower than most states I have seen, the intangible tax is more of a nuisance than a tax and is likely going to be dropped entirely next year, only toll road I know is the turnpike unless you include the Sunshine Bridge, The district fees are included in the property taxes. I was in business before retiring and I dont recall any onerous fees. And there are NO state inheritance taxes which is important to us OLDER Cost holders. haha.
As to politicians stealing--new administration REPUBLICAN and the Democrats in Miami I think are all in jail now. JDN
