Dear Sweez: I will confirm what Brian said about the popular axiom 'God helps those that help themselves'. Correct, it is not in the bible. In fact it would infer that God "ONLY" helps those that help themselves. Mat 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things SHALL be added unto you. Sweez: That your prayers will always be answered and not hindered please in your spare time read study James Chapter 4. Make a list as you study this chapter of 5 reasons for unanswered prayers and 11 conditions of answered prayers. Pay special attention to the last verse vs 17. Sweez add 'power' to your spiritual life; every aspect of it , every phase, including the stock market, your family life , your relationships with co workers, your friends, my friend there is a volcano in you that is waiting to erupt; and if you take the necessary steps to ensure that happening it will transform your life in every facet thereof.
