The Wordist 50 Words Exactly Category.

"Total, Totally, Totaled." How long has it been since "total" meant "all?" Too long, she thinks, then says, "Enough is enough."

Hand up back of the class. "Latin is a dead language. English is alive and dynamic. You are a blatant wordist."

"Why are you taking this class?"

"It's required."

THE TOOTHPICK

Short. Narrow. Pointed. Thin. Fragile.
With index finger and thumb gently holding this created marvel; a precision targeting to the entangled tooth containing strings of celery; a deft flick of the wrist; the celery becomes dislodged and separated from its clinging; thus escaping the digestive tract and turning to waste; the celery strands find their way to the waste basket awaiting the garbage can and a trip to the landfill.
Thank God for toothpicks.
