<<Anyone want to talk the necessity of a correct Alignment??? >>

Ooooohhh you're gonna start a cat fight here Neenny, many just drive the car and air up the tires 'til the sidewalls are straight. I know only too well the need for having the wheels aligned properly! But trying to read tire wear is an art saved for only a few.

Misalignment is the secondmost cause of tire wear, misinflation being the first.

Wayne, Thanks for reminding us with the... "The tire doesn't know what kind of vehicle it's on" comment... How true. Many take the sidewall specs as gospel when infact emblazened on the sidewall of most tires it says 'MAX' 35 psi etc. on all those tires. Max being fully loaded of course.

The door jamb on the passanger side or glove box is the recommended pressure that the mfg. suggests , however remember that the mfg. wants you to have a smooth riding, comfortable 1999 Urinate or whatever, but doesn't care about your tires wearing out prematurely.
