OT: Some support...

Robert, the 1980's started the trend of abusive prosecutions. The theme was "criminalization of improper appearances." We have to look no further than the Starr investigations to realize that people guilty of only misjudgement or a mere "perception of impropriety" was enough to bankrupt people through legal fees. It is sick and pathetic (and the Democrats started it <g>). Yes, people covered their butts if for no other reason than to avoid prosecutorial abuse.

There are still people out there how figure an accusation is the same thing as guilt. A turncoat would have plenty to talk about. Its called "self-serving testimony".
